Your future role at a glance:

Location: Cedar Park, TX

Facility: Ascension Seton Cedar Park Medical Center

Department/Specialty: Central Telemetry Monitor

Schedule: PRN, day shift | 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Execute continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring for high-acuity patients requiring vigilant, real-time heart health surveillance.
  • Analyze and interpret complex ECG waveforms, proactively identifying irregular rhythms, subtle changes, and critical arrhythmias.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary care teams, delivering rapid, precise communication of clinical changes to nurses and physicians to ensure immediate intervention.
  • Manage and optimize advanced telemetry inventory, overseeing the troubleshooting, calibration, and supply tracking of life-saving electronic monitoring equipment.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Prefer 1+ years telemetry monitoring experience.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Follows all organizational and departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
