As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care to patients in an acute care setting. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to monitor and manage patients with a variety of medical conditions, including neuro, orthopedic, and surgical cases.

• Provide primary care nursing to a diverse patient population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation
• Administer and titrate medications, including Heparin, per protocol
• Interpret telemetry strips and collaborate with tele monitor techs
• Participate in a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Float to similar units as needed, with support roles in higher acuity areas
• Complete a comprehensive orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the unit

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Must have experience with total joint procedures and PCA pumps
• Understanding of TPN/Lipids and narcotic management
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Experience with EPIC charting system
