What Youll Do
- Deliver high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKG results
- Administer cardiac drips and other medications as ordered
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations on the unit
- Document patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
What You Need
- Required: Valid Nursing license in Louisiana, BLS certification, 1+ year experience in telemetry or medical-surgical units
- Preferred: NIH certification, ACLS certification, experience with cardiac monitoring and Epic EMR
- Key Skills: Strong patient care skills, critical thinking, team-oriented, ability to work night shifts, flexibility to work holiday rotations
