East Houston Medical Center is seeking a vigilant, clinicallyastute, and service-driven Telemetry / IMU Monitor Technician tojoin our acute care team. This position plays a vital role in safeguardingpatient outcomes through continuous cardiac rhythm observation, promptrecognition of clinical changes, and timely communication with the nursing andprovider teams in the Telemetry and Intermediate Medical Unit environment.
Position Summary
The Telemetry / IMU Monitor Technician is responsible for thecontinuous observation, interpretation, and documentation of cardiac monitoringdata for patients requiring telemetry surveillance in an acute care hospitalsetting. This role supports patient safety by identifying normal andabnormal cardiac rhythms, escalating urgent findings without delay, andmaintaining monitoring accuracy in a fast-paced clinical environment.
