    Telecommunications Apprentice Technician

    Indianapolis, IN

    Are you looking to start a career in telecommunications? We are seeking a Telecommunications Apprentice Technician to support installation and maintenance projects while developing technical skills alongside experienced industry professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.

    • Support electrical cabling, fiber optic installation, and equipment mounting activities.

    • Participate in daily safety and quality meetings.

    • Maintain organized work areas, tools, and equipment.

    • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

    • Work under the direction of experienced technicians and team leaders.

    Requirements

    • Strong desire to learn and grow in a technical field.

    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

    • Reliable transportation.

    • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

    • Ability to travel occasionally based on project needs.

    • Availability to work overtime or weekends when required.

    • OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.

    Preferred Skills

    • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

    • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Working Conditions

    • Physical work that may include lifting materials, climbing structures, and working outdoors.
