The Telecommunications Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for driving a company-wide voice modernization program across a large, decentralized footprint, including integrating new acquisitions during M&A activities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal IT infrastructure teams and business managers to translate requirements into scalable enterprise voice designs, specifically migrating multiple legacy platforms to WebEx Cloud Calling. As the technical owner of each deployment, you will oversee site-specific rollout plans, coordinate with platform and carrier vendors, and ensure seamless, on-time cutovers with minimal business disruption.
To excel in this position, candidates must possess Cisco Control Hub Experience and Cisco Cloud Calling Administration Experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience deploying Cisco enterprise voice and unified communications technologies. You should have a proven track record of managing multi-platform migrations, number porting, standardizing dial plans, and troubleshooting complex SIP and QoS issues during complex organizational transitions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders are essential for managing multiple concurrent site rollouts.
