    IDR is seeking a Telecom Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves developing and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure, supported by a leading organization in the healthcare industry. The Telecom Engineer will play a key part in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting advanced telecommunications systems to ensure seamless communication services.

    Position Overview for the Telecom Engineer:

    • Configure, repair, and install telecommunications voice and data lines adhering to code standards.
    • Analyze and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure issues.
    • Provide technical assistance to the community.
    • Configure and support Nortel, Vocera, and Shortel telecommunications systems.
    • Perform network switching and routing Tier 1 troubleshooting.
    • Develop, test, maintain, install, and deploy technologies supporting the organizations technical infrastructure.
    • Support the establishment, development, and promotion of standard architectures, hardware, and software components.
    • Provide consulting services to application development teams and customers regarding technologies and standards.

    Requirements for the Telecom Engineer:

    • At least three (3) years of direct experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience with configuration, repair, and installation of telecommunications voice and data lines.
    • Experience analyzing and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure issues.
    • Experience providing technical assistance to the community.
    • Experience configuring and supporting Nortel, Vocera, and Shortel telecommunications systems.
