Telecom BIM Designer

This role focuses on developing and coordinating Revit BIM models, producing construction documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to deliver clash-free, constructable designs. We are seeking a Telecom BIM Designer to support the design and modeling of telecommunications systems for large-scale industrial, semiconductor, and data center projects.

Position Title: Telecom BIM Designer
Pay: $35-$72/hr
Location: Nationwide (Remote or Hybrid Depending on Proximity to Offices)


Position Summary:
We are seeking a Telecom BIM Designer to support the design and modeling of telecommunications systems for large-scale industrial, semiconductor, and data center projects. This role focuses on developing and coordinating Revit BIM models, producing construction documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to deliver clash-free, constructable designs.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Revit BIM models for telecommunications systems
• Create coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Work with project teams to maintain compliance with BIM standards and client requirements
• Coordinate telecom designs with architects, engineers, and other design disciplines
• Support the development of constructable, clash-free models and design deliverables
• Interpret markups and design intent from project leads and senior designers
• Experience designing paging, intercom, audio-visual, or DAS systems
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire alarm, and security systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of BIM design experience
• 3+ years of telecommunications, security, life safety, or fire alarm design experience
• Strong recent Revit experience (required)
• Understanding of telecommunications systems design and construction practices
• Familiarity with design standards, specifications, and industry codes
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar markup software
• Ability to estimate design and modeling effort from project markups and direction provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks
• Data center, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing project experience
• Understanding of control systems, network topology, and network components
