Tekla Steel Detailer/Checker - Pasadena, TX

A structural steel team serving the Pasadena area needs a Tekla Detailer/Checker. You'll create and check accurate structural and miscellaneous steel shop and erection drawings for commercial and industrial work, and your buildable drawings head directly to the shop floor.

Day to day

• Coordinate revisions and RFIs with fabricators, engineers, and project managers
• Model and detail structural and miscellaneous steel in Tekla Structures
• Review assembly, shop, and erection drawings for accuracy and constructability
• Mentor junior detailers and keep drawing quality consistent
• Make sure drawings meet project specifications and AISC standards

What you bring

• Checking experience strongly preferred
• 3+ years of structural steel detailing in Tekla Structures
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
• Solid grasp of AISC standards, connections, and fabrication practices

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$130K based on experience
• Benefits package
