Tekla Detailer/Checker (Structural Steel) - Manvel

Join a structural steel team near Manvel as a Tekla Detailer/Checker. You'll create and check accurate structural and miscellaneous steel shop and erection drawings for commercial and industrial projects, and your clean, buildable drawings go directly to the shop floor.

Key duties

• Model and detail structural and miscellaneous steel in Tekla Structures
• Keep drawings in line with AISC standards and project specifications
• Coordinate RFIs and revisions with project managers, fabricators, and engineers
• Check erection, shop, and assembly drawings for accuracy and constructability
• Mentor junior detailers and keep drawing quality consistent

Requirements

• 3+ years of Tekla Structures detailing experience in structural steel
• Solid understanding of connections, AISC standards, and fabrication practices
• Checking experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$130K based on experience
• Benefits package
