Tekla Detailer/Checker, Steel - Seabrook, TX

Seabrook-area structural steel role for an experienced Tekla Detailer/Checker. You'll produce and check structural and miscellaneous steel shop and erection drawings for commercial and industrial projects on a team that values clean, buildable drawings that go directly to the shop floor.

What you'll do

• Hold every drawing to AISC standards and project specifications
• Check erection, assembly, and shop drawings for constructability and accuracy
• Mentor junior detailers and maintain consistent drawing quality
• Detail and model structural and miscellaneous steel in Tekla Structures
• Work through RFIs and revisions with project managers, engineers, and fabricators

What we're looking for

• Solid understanding of AISC standards, connections, and fabrication practices
• 3+ years of Tekla Structures detailing experience in structural steel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Checking experience strongly preferred

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$130K based on experience
