    How you''ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

    The Continuous Improvement Trainer develops Lean capability across TechOps by delivering training programs, facilitating workshops, coaching leaders and employees, and supporting deployment of the TechOps Lean operating system ("Flight Path"). This role is responsible for building proficiency in Lean principles, Daily Management, Structured Problem Solving, leader standard work, and continuous improvement methodologies.

    The position partners with operational leaders, frontline employees, and Continuous Improvement teams to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to successfully deploy and sustain the TechOps Lean Transformation while accelerating development of future facilitators, frontline leaders, and Continuous Improvement practitioners.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Deliver Flight Path training programs, workshops, simulations, bootcamps, and learning events that build Lean capability across TechOps.
    • Facilitate Structured Problem Solving, action planning, and capability development activities that support operational excellence and continuous improvement objectives.
    • Coach leaders, facilitators, and employees on Lean methodologies, Daily Management, standard work, and Flight Path principles.
    • Support Kaizen events and transformation initiatives through facilitation, training, coaching, and capability-building expertise.
    • Develop and continuously improve training materials, curricula, simulations, exercises, and learning content.
    • Deliver instructor-led classroom training, virtual learning experiences, workshops, and simulation-based learning programs.
    • Assess learner proficiency and provide coaching, feedback, and development recommendations to improve capability and application of Lean concepts.
    • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Managers, Coaches, and operational leaders to identify capability gaps and support workforce development plans.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to learning methods, content, and delivery approaches.
    • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Education, Organizational Development, Aviation Management, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, continuous improvement, operational excellence, organizational development, training, facilitation, or related business functions.
    • Demonstrated experience delivering instructor-led training, workshop facilitation, coaching, or capability development programs.
    • Experience supporting Lean, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or transformation initiatives preferred.
    • Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to teach and develop others through classroom instruction, workshops, simulations, and practical application.
    • Experience facilitating Structured Problem Solving, Kaizen events, workshops, or process improvement activities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence employees at all organizational levels.
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging manner.
    • Working knowledge of Lean principles, Daily Management, standard work, leader standard work, and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Experience developing training materials, presentations, learning content, and instructional resources.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and learning technologies.
    • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
    • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
    • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
    • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    • Airline, aviation maintenance, MRO, manufacturing, military, or other highly regulated operational industry experience.
    • Formal Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Training, Adult Learning, or Change Management certification.
    • Experience facilitating virtual, classroom, and simulation-based learning environments.
    • Experience designing and delivering workforce capability development programs.
    • Experience facilitating Kaizen events, Structured Problem Solving sessions, and operational improvement activities.
    • Experience coaching leaders, facilitators, and employees through organizational change and transformation initiatives.
    • Proven ability to develop future facilitators, Continuous Improvement practitioners, and frontline leaders.
    • Experience developing training content, simulations, workshops, and instructional materials for large operational organizations.
    • Experience supporting Lean operating system deployment and sustainment efforts.
