(Pay Rate: $33.35/hr, W 2)

**Duration:** 18 Month Contract

**Work Mode:** Part-time

Summary:

• This part-time position is a unique opportunity to work with OATS to empower older adults in the digital world.
• Trainers deliver OATS curriculum, offer technology support, and serve as brand ambassadors.
• Trainers guide participants in using technology for communication, banking, and starting small businesses.
• Creating a community of support among participants is fundamental to the role.

Responsibilities:

• Teach technology courses virtually and in-person using the OATS curriculum.
• Create a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
• Offer personalized support on the Senior Planet hotlines.
• Maintain professionalism and represent Senior Planet culture.
• Engage in regular communication with OATS staff for feedback and coordination.
• Submit paperwork and enter data into Salesforce database timely.
• Participate in trainer meetings and special projects as needed.
• Supervise volunteers who assist classes, as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching adults.
• Excellent speaking and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English, English and Mandarin, or English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Windows computers, iOS, and popular social media sites.
• Comfortable traveling to various senior/community centers as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a training team.
• Superior time-management skills.
• Flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience teaching teenagers, adults, and/or seniors.
• High degree of patience, creativity, dependability, and problem-solving ability.
