Technology Support Technician JobID: 520 Position Type: Technology/Computer TechnicianDate Posted: 9/14/2026Location: Faith Family Academy Administration Building Additional Information: Show/Hide JOB TITLE: Technology Support Technician WAGE/HOUR AT WILL STATUS: # OF DAYS: 230 JOB CODE: REPORTS TO: PAY GRADE: DEPT./SCHOOL: Technology DATE REVISED: 10/12/16 Primary Purpose: The technology support technician will troubleshoot and maintain the district's computer equipment, desktop computers, terminals, projection systems, and peripherals including printers and scanners. This includes classroom and administrative PC, Mac, and iPads. This position offers growth opportunities into future network and system administration roles. Qualifications: Minimum of three year's computer support experience. A + Certification is an advantage, but not necessary. Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to work on a team to support PC, Macintosh, computers and peripheral devices. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Install, repair, maintain, and monitor relevant desktop operating system(s) and hardware with associated tools and utilities. Provide system/application administration such as account management, storage assignments and access authorization. Provide expert input in recommending hardware and software configurations, solutions, and planning. Assist in the development of new and/or revised administrative methods or policies to improve utilization, reporting, and overall accountability in administration of systems and applications to ensure efficient and effective resource utilization. Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by the Superintendent or designee.
