Technology Support Intern | Summer 2027

POSITION SUMMARY

The technology support intern will gain experience and a basic understanding of the day-to-day functions of corporate information technology. This role will work directly with the technology support lead to conduct basic computer and telephone support, laptop and device upgrades, and troubleshoot end-user issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborates with department team members to respond to basic support requests.
• Assists with support of the company phone system and cell phones.
• Distributes laptops and new IT equipment during annual refresh and for new hires.
• Maintains and documents hardware inventory.
• Supports implementation of ongoing and special IT projects.
• Documents IT policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrollment in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Able to multitask and work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Desire to learn and grow within IT.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily an office environment with periodic visits project sites.
