JOB REQUIREMENTSGeneral troubleshooting of hardware and softwareDeploys hardware and software throughout the districtSupport staff and students in their use of technologyResponsible for the ongoing accuracy of student and school data, collaborating with the staff entering dataCompiles and enters data into various computer programsProduces reports from various data systemsAssists with the integration of technology into the curriculumIn depth knowledge of network infrastructuresAssumes other duties and responsibilities as required by the Director of Technology QUALIFICATIONSBS Degree preferred; equivalent experience in an academic technology support positionMust have demonstrated expertise in use of technology to support educational systems; experience in assisting staff members in integrating technology into the curriculum; experience with networks; software and hardware troubleshooting experience; the ability to diagnose and resolve technology problems as they apply to K-12 educationMust have the capability to work with or to lead a team of colleagues; the ability to communicate effectively with staff and studentsMust have the ability to analyze and report on student data; and a working knowledge of most of the following: student management data systems (PowerSchool preferred); Excel spreadsheet functionality; state reporting (CT); and Google Apps for Education APPLICATION PROCEDUREApplicants may go to the employment tab on www.northbranfordschools.org to submit an on-line application.
