We are seeking a Senior Python/QA Engineer . The ideal candidate will serve as the quality gatekeeper across the full delivery lifecycle validating business requirements shared by the Business Unit (BU), authoring and executing end-to-end system tests, and certifying the completeness of each requirement against acceptance criteria defined in the Business Requirements Document (BRD). This role Python Automation testing, data validation, and emerging Agentic AI/Gen AI testing disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
Strong experience in Python Automation, Playwright, Selenium and Azure concepts
Build and optimize Test Strategies and Test Plans.
Map each BRD requirement to testable acceptance criteria; identify gaps and ambiguities before development begins
Maintain a living Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) linking BRD items test cases test results
Participate in BRD walkthroughs and sign-off reviews with business stakeholders (e.g BU leads.
Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test scenarios covering the full data pipeline: source systems Databricks/Snowflake transformations dashboard UI
Validate data accuracy acrss Databricks Unity Catalog schemas
Write and execute SQL-based data validation scripts
Develop Python-based data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Deequ, or custom) for automated regression checks
Validate data completeness, referential integrity, and schema evolution across curated and raw layers
Strong experience in API Testing covering REST/GraphQL endpoints
Validate API contracts (request/response schemas, status codes, headers) using tools such as Bruno, Postman, requests, httpx, or Swagger/OpenAPI validators
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of API endpoints including:
Data retrieval APIs (market metrics, KPI summaries, quarterly aggregations)
Authentication & authorization flows (token validation, role-based access, session management)
Error handling and edge cases (malformed payloads, rate limiting, timeout behavior, 4xx/5xx responses)
Validate API performance under load response times, throughput, and concurrency using Locust, k6, or JMeter
Test API versioning, backward compatibility, and deprecation handling
Automate API contract testing within CI/CD pipelines to catch breaking changes before deployment
Validate data consistency between API responses and underlying Databricks/SQL query outputs

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
8+yrs of Deep expertise in Playwright (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript), Selenium WebDriver, API automation, and CI/CD integration.
Strong hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks with Docker, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Knowledge in CI/CD automation, deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Strong expertise in Requirement traceability till Defect management and ensuring no escaped defects
Strong hands-on experience in API Testing
Experience in Test Strategy, Test Case planning and execution

Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Python and automation frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global delivery environment
