Salary: 80,000 - 135,000

Company summary: We are partnered with a leading bank in New York that is looking to grow its technology risk team by bringing on a technology risk analyst. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in technology risk or a related field within the financial services industry and are well versed in cyber and information security. In this role you will be responsible for working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders in conducting risk assessments across the firm's security systems. You will also be responsible for creating risk reports with recommendations and remediation processes for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments across the firm's security systems.
• Monitor and report on security risks, remediation progress, and control effectiveness.
• Perform risk assessments on new and existing systems to evaluate potential security risks.
• Create risk reports with recommendations and remediation processes for management.
• Support other initiatives and responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualification

• 2+ experience in technology risk or related field in finance services.
• Experience conducting risk assessments across platform/security systems.
• Experience with cyber/IT security.
• Familiarity with cyber security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
