Description

FieldBridge is looking for a Quality Technician in Rosharon, TX to work for the world's largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $30-35/hr (depending on experience).1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30. Opportunity for OT. At $35/hr and 48 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,820/gross.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technology Quality Technician to conduct quality control inspections and testing activities at the Rosharon, TX facility. In this role, you will inspect machined metal parts and tubular components using CMM and manual inspection methods, interpret mechanical drawings, document findings, and collaborate with engineers on nonconformance outcomes. This position requires strong dimensional inspection experience, a quality-focused mindset, and the ability to operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine with precision and consistency. In-person interview required prior to final decision. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspections on machined metal parts and tubular components using CMM and manual inspection methods
  • Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine to inspect parts against stated specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings including non-conformances to engineers and the broader team
  • Assist in designing tests and fixtures and ensure all inspection and test activities are conducted safely
  • Drive continuous improvement of inspection and test procedures using Manufacturing System principles

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of CMM operation and dimensional inspection experience required
  • Zeiss CMM experience preferred; Zeiss certification a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Hands-on dimensional inspection experience with strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • CMM programming experience a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Experience in oil and gas or similar manufacturing environments a plus
  • TCC Controlled Technology check required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
