Technology Project Manager – Low Voltage Technology and Security

We are seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead low-voltage design projects from planning through construction administration. You will manage client coordination, scope, fees, staffing, and schedules while providing technical direction and reviewing design quality.

Our work encompasses low-voltage technology and security systems, with examples including structured cabling, audiovisual, nurse call, and electronic security. Healthcare and data center experience is especially valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner and design team meetings; document requirements, decisions, and action items.
• Manage design fees, labor budgets, staffing, schedules, and changes in project scope.
• Direct system design and coordinate technology requirements with architects, engineers, and owners.
• Oversee drawings and specifications; review deliverables for completeness, coordination, and quality.
• Support hands-on design and limited Revit production when project needs require it.
• Review submittals and RFIs, observe construction, and document issues related to design intent.
• Guide designers, resolve technical issues, and communicate project needs and progress.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant technology design or consulting experience, including project leadership.
• Working knowledge of low-voltage technology and security systems and applicable industry standards.
• Ability to manage concurrent design projects, coordinate teams, and communicate clearly with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare and/or data center project experience.
• BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and/or Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) certification.
• Revit proficiency is preferred; AutoCAD experience is also valued.
• A/E consulting experience; proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; PMP certification.
