    Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives across the enterprise. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and governing complex technology projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, financial commitments, and organizational priorities.

    The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with financial acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. This individual will oversee project planning, budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, governance, and executive reporting across a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives spanning infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, data platforms, and digital transformation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Planning & Governance
    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, success criteria, and governance approach.
    • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and dependency tracking.
    • Establish project governance, decision logs, risk registers, and executive reporting.

    Financial & Budget Management
     
    • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Monitor capital and operating expenditures, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Support development of business cases, cost estimates, ROI analyses, and funding requests.
    • Partner with Finance and Procurement to support vendor contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and budget reconciliation.

    Project Execution
    • Lead cross-functional technology initiatives involving infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, networking, data platforms, and digital transformation.
    • Coordinate project activities across business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
    • Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within approved budgets.

    Executive Communication
    • Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and project status updates.
    • Communicate project health, financial performance, risks, key decisions, and milestones to leadership.
    • Facilitate governance meetings and executive steering committee reviews.

    Vendor & Resource Management
    • Coordinate work across vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
    • Monitor vendor performance against contractual commitments and project milestones.
    • Support development and execution of Statements of Work (SOWs), milestone tracking, and invoice validation.

    Quality & Compliance
    • Ensure project deliverables meet organizational quality standards.
    • Maintain complete project documentation in accordance with company governance standards.
    • Ensure projects comply with applicable regulatory, security, and technology standards.
    • Support organizational change management and project closeout activities.

    Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience managing complex technology projects.
    • Proven experience managing project budgets, financial forecasts, and technology investments.
    • Experience developing business cases and supporting capital investment decisions.
    • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and third-party service providers.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams across business and technology organizations
