Data Engineer / ETL Developer (Django & Front-End Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer / ETL Developer to join our Charter team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines and data solutions while also contributing to web-based applications built on the Django framework. This role requires a blend of data engineering and application development skills, including basic to intermediate front-end development experience.
Candidates with .NET backgrounds who have demonstrated the ability to quickly learn new technologies, particularly Django, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics and reporting needs.
Work with large datasets in cloud-based data warehouse environments.
Develop and enhance Django-based web applications and data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to deliver data solutions.
Support front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across platforms.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.
Strong experience with ETL tools, data integration, and SQL development.
Experience developing or supporting applications using Django
Basic to intermediate front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
