We are seeking a Technology & Innovation (T&I) Program and Portfolio Manager who is responsible for driving visibility, alignment, and execution across Americhem's global T&I project portfolio. This role ensures that innovation efforts are prioritized, balanced, and resourced effectively across segments and regions. The position serves as a centralized coordination point between T&I, Commercial, and Operational stakeholders to manage labor tracking, pipeline planning, dashboarding, and communication routines. By enabling better cross-functional decision-making, this role helps accelerate speed-to-market and improve overall innovation productivity.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field required. Project management certification (PMP or similar) required.
10+ years of experience in T&I portfolio and project management, product development, or technical operations with exposure to portfolio and resource planning.
Strong understanding of stage-gate processes, project lifecycle management, and innovation portfolio governance.
Proficient and trained in advanced statistics and design of experiment methodologies.
Skilled in using project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel or similar) and data visualization platforms (e.g., SalesForce, Power BI).
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills across technical and commercial audiences.
Additional Information
Travel: Occasional travel (up to 20%) to pilot lines, manufacturing sites, and vendor locations as needed.
