Job Title: Technology Implementation Consultant CRIMS/OMS Upgrade Program
Location: Burlington, MA
Duration: 06 months (with possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: $45-53/hr on W2/C2C
We are seeking an experienced Technology Implementation Consultant to support CRIMS/OMS upgrade and implementation initiatives with strong expertise in technical customization, integrations, batch processing, troubleshooting, and production support.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) / Order Management System (OMS) implementations, Java or C# development, database technologies, API integrations, ETL processes, and messaging platforms. The candidate will collaborate with technical, functional, and business teams to deliver successful upgrade initiatives and ensure stable production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support CRIMS/OMS upgrade and implementation projects from a technical perspective.
- Develop, customize, and maintain CRIMS/OMS technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and support integrations using:
- APIs
- Web Services
- ETL processes
- Messaging platforms
- Perform data transformation, mapping, and database-related activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across:
- Application layers
- Integration layers
- Data layers
- Support production environments by analyzing defects, monitoring processes, and implementing fixes.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to support upgrade delivery.
- Participate in technical design, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
- Manage batch processing workflows, scheduling, monitoring, and dependency management.
Required Technical Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in technology implementation, application development, or consulting roles.
- Prior experience with Charles River IMS (CRIMS) or Order Management Systems (OMS) implementations.
- Strong understanding of investment management and trading workflows.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages:
- Strong experience with:
- XML/XSLT
- MS SQL Server
- Database development and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Web Services
- ETL Tools (Kettle/Talend)
- Messaging platforms (MQ, Kafka)
- Experience with batch processing and scheduling tools:
- Tidal
- Job monitoring
- Dependency management
- Production troubleshooting
