Akkodis is seeking a Technology - Copy Writer/Editor for a Contract job with a client in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will possess strong proofreading, editing, and marketing communications experience, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency across a variety of customer-facing communication channels.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technology - Copy Writer/Editor Job Responsibilities Include:
Review, edit, and proofread content across multiple communication channels, including enterprise emails, websites, social media platforms, radio scripts, mobile applications, and print marketing materials.
Edit and proofread monthly retail promotional campaigns to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and compliance with brand standards.
Conduct content quality reviews before materials are submitted to the Creative Design team for production.
Perform detailed pre-proof and final proof reviews of creative assets to ensure all messaging, grammar, formatting, and content elements are correct.
Participate in the established content review and approval workflow utilizing Workfront and related collaboration tools.
Collaborate with marketing, creative, and business stakeholders to develop customer-focused content that effectively communicates campaign objectives and business messages.
Ensure all communications adhere to company brand voice, editorial standards, messaging guidelines, and quality expectations.
Optimize content for both digital and print channels while supporting marketing and customer engagement goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of three years of professional experience in copy editing, proofreading, content development, or marketing communications.
Demonstrated experience reviewing and editing customer-facing content across digital, print, and marketing channels.
Strong understanding of brand messaging, editorial standards, and content quality assurance practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting retail or B2C marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of retail and/or automotive marketing environments.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and social media content standards.
Experience utilizing Workfront, Quip, Contently, or similar content management and collaboration platforms.
Fluency in Spanish is considered a plus.
Experience partnering with cross-functional marketing, creative, and business teams to deliver high-quality content and campaigns.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
