Seeking a candidate who is excited about opportunities in STEM and technology for students, would like to work in a new STEM lab space, enjoys collaborating with peers, desires to inspire students to create, problem solve, and think critically in a supportive Catholic Christian environment.
Responsibilities include by are not limited to the following:
- Teach K-8 STEM/Technology classes.
- Participate in professional development in STEM and implement curriculum for STEM and Technology as needed.
- Teach digital literacy, citizenship, coding, and AI skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers across the curriculum.
- Support and train faculty and staff.
- Troubleshoot devices and classroom technology.
- Manage accounts, devices, and software.
- Maintain technology inventory and equipment.
- Support testing and school technology needs.
- Promote safe and responsible technology use.
Qualifications:
- Desire to work in a new STEM lab and collaborate with trainers and peers to implement new curriculum K-8
Bachelor's degree preferred.
- K-8 teaching experience preferred.
- Strong technology and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to learn new programs and platforms as needed.
- Knowledge of educational technology tools.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of digital safety and data privacy.
- Familiarity with coding, STEM, robotics, and AI.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance teaching and technology support.
