Ingersoll’s US operations are housed on our state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently accepting applications for a Technology Center Technician. The Technology Center Technician utilizes their knowledge of CNC machining and CAM programming to give demonstrations to customers and other audiences on Ingersoll Cutting Tool’s technology and capabilities. The ideal candidate for the Technician role will enjoy working with people and has a high level of interest in CNC machining and programming. Additionally, this position will require interfacing with ICTC customers on various projects as directed by management. This position involves working closely with ICTC field sales engineers, and product management to achieve customer related testing goals. This includes preparing test reports, CAM simulations and other functions related to serving ICTC customers as directed. Essential job duties and Responsibilities include:

The salary range for this position is $19-29 an hour depending on experience level. This is an on-site, full-time position that may require intermittent overtime based on workflow demands (including potential for long shifts and/or weekend work). Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well independently, as well as with others, in a team environment. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess a good work ethic, demonstrate reliable and punctual work habits, demonstrate safety consciousness, and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
