This position's main objective is to provide support to the Technology team. It is also an expectation to offer ancillary support to other departments as the Technical Manager sees fit. This role reports directly to the Technical Manager and is a key component of the Dunkirk team.
Responsibilities:
Technology Department Support
Review processing activities for critical orders and material to verify adherence to required specifications
Collect, analyze, and summarize product and process data to support operational reporting and decision-making
Monitor departmental backlogs and escalate necessary items as needed
Compile and summarize data for reports, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
Prepare and review heat treatment charts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Compare conversion requisitions against order requirements
Review process records against current procedures, customer order requirements, and fixed practices
Systems Support
Administrative support tasks, such as scanning, printing, and retrieving necessary documents
Maintaining a current database by consistently uploading purchase orders in a timely manner
QA/QC functions
Assist in and execute customer/OEM audits
Generate and review material certifications to meet necessary requirements
Quality assurance audit support
Review test results to confirm acceptability to relevant customer requirements
Provide support for quality assurance audits and ensure accuracy through document review
