Your New Role
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager for a twelve-month contract to support a key software development project. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define strategy and drive features from vision through execution. You''ll work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Technical Operations, and Development teams while owning the product roadmap and representing the team with leadership and stakeholders.
We''re looking for a systems thinker and owner with a sharp focus on the end user, who can bring both strategic direction and practical execution.
Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap with key features and timelines.
- Translate customer needs into comprehensive product specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure clear, achievable requirements.
- Author use cases and user stories; partner with engineering leads to prioritize features and enhancements.
- Communicate product strategy and roadmap effectively to stakeholders.
- Oversee development teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Define and oversee the testing process to guarantee products are defect-free before UAT.
- Facilitate UAT processes, including rollout plans and procedures.
- Present updates to steering committees or project sponsors.
- Develop, track, and manage project plans, timelines, and scope with the Program Manager.
Must-Have Skills & Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Product Management.
- Proven experience in software product management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience delivering technology/business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform systems environments across the product lifecycle (planning, design, development, implementation).
- Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience with the ability to lead ceremonies.
- Strong people management and team-building skills.
- Ability to quickly learn business processes and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Media industry experience and/or Broadcast Control Room exposure.
- Cloud experience (preferred).

Education / Certifications
