As part of the Studio Economics transformation, we are reimagining how finance, business, and technology collaborate. We''re shifting to lean-agile, user-centered delivery models using small, product-oriented teams (PODs) that develop intelligent, integrated, and scalable solutions.
The Senior Application Architect will play a key leadership role within the Platform Pod, driving architectural excellence and technical alignment across Studio Economics applications. This role will ensure scalability, performance, and consistency across the front-end, back-end, and integration layers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Application Architecture and Integration Strategy
- Define and maintain application architecture principles emphasizing modularity, component reuse, and scalability.
- Design integration models (APIs, orchestration, data services) that support platform interoperability.
- Promote service-oriented and event-driven architecture paradigms.
- Collaborate with Data Science teams to embed AI/ML capabilities (e.g., predictive modeling, recommendations) in applications.
Provide Cross-Pod Technology Leadership
- Evaluate and guide technology stack choices (Angular, React, Spring Boot, Java, Python).
- Set standards for concerns like authentication, state management, error handling, and performance tuning.
- Embed security-by-design across the application lifecycle and ensure compliance with internal standards.
Enablement, Mentorship, and Collaboration
- Act as a technical mentor to Full-Stack Engineers and Engineering Leads.
- Lead architecture sync meetings and design reviews.
- Drive cohesion across pods through shared services, libraries, and UI/UX templates.
Documentation and Governance
- Create clear documentation: system diagrams, interface contracts, decision logs, and component maps.
- Participate in architecture review boards and cross-program design discussions.
- Evaluate new technical requirements, perform feasibility assessments, and prototype solutions when necessary.
Must-Have Skills & Requirements
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful API development
- Working knowledge of Python and asynchronous messaging
- Microservices and full-stack architecture
- CI/CD pipeline integration and containerization
- Multi-tier application patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and UI-to-data integration
