Responsibilities:
The Technology and Innovation Specialist at the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine (FCoM) plays a pivotal role in advancing technological integration within the medical education program. This position is central to facilitating seamless collaboration between the medical school''s operational units and the University information technology department. The primary responsibility of the Technology and Innovation Specialist is to provide comprehensive support for technology within the medical education program. This includes delivering end-user desktop support, overseeing the setup, integration, and maintenance of new equipment and software, with a particular focus on technical aspects related to virtual anatomy and pathology programs. The role involves close coordination with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues specific to the medical education program. The Technology and Innovation Specialist serves as a key liaison, ensuring effective communication and resolution between FCoM and technology vendors. This position is instrumental in driving technological advancements and innovations within the medical education curriculum, contributing significantly to the enhancement of learning experiences and the overall quality of education provided by FCoM. The successful candidate will actively engage in fostering a technologically proficient environment that supports the evolving needs of medical education, aligning with the institution''s commitment to excellence in academic programs and student success.

Required EducationAssociate''s Degree Required; Bachelor''s Degree Preferred
Required Experience1-3 Years Experience Required: 4-6 Years Preferred. A+ technical certification required.
