What You Can Expect
The Laboratory Technologist provides technical support for research and development activities focused on medical devices, biomaterials, antimicrobial technologies, electrochemical systems, and microbiological evaluations. This position performs laboratory experiments, operates scientific instrumentation, collects and analyzes data, maintains laboratory equipment, and ensures compliance with laboratory safety and quality requirements.
This is an onsite position.
How You'll Create Impact
Experimental Testing & Research Support
Perform laboratory experiments and testing activities according to approved protocols, work instructions, and SOPs.
Conduct electrochemical, materials characterization, and microbiological studies.
Prepare test samples, media, reagents, buffers, and solutions.
Assist in developing, optimizing, and validating laboratory methods
Perform analytical testing involving HPLC, AAS, XRF instruments
Laboratory Instrumentation
Operate and troubleshoot power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, heating ovens, shakers, incubators, pH meters, analytical balances, and electrochemical systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration activities
Data Collection & Analysis
Collect, compile, and verify experimental data.
Maintain laboratory notebooks, ELN systems, and electronic records.
Analyze and summarize data using Excel and related tools.
Laboratory Operations
Maintain laboratory organization and inventory.
Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities
Safety & Compliance
Handle chemicals, acids, bases, and biological materials safely.
Follow EHS, biosafety, and quality system requirements

What Makes You Stand Out
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Laboratory testing and instrumentation experience.
Electrochemistry and microbiology knowledge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology experience.
Knowledge of biomaterials, orthopedic implants, antimicrobial technologies, or surface coatings.
Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485, GLP, or GMP environments.
Experience with ELN, LIMS, or statistical analysis tools.
