Now hiring for a Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

1st Shift

Keep It Running, Keep It Rolling. Technician Needed.

Looking for Technician jobs in Phoenix where your technical skills keep equipment operating at its best?

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
  • AA degree in a technical field or some college preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with parts cleaning, coating technologies, or media blasting is a plus
  • Quality Assurance experience preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen training is a plus
  • Semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing experience is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods
  • Operate production equipment and follow established cleaning processes
  • Perform receiving, inspection, packaging, bagging, and shipping activities
  • Follow SOPs, quality standards, and Lean manufacturing practices
  • Handle hazardous chemicals safely and according to company procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Complete required process and safety training
  • Record measurements and production data as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and learn new processes

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.

What You Will Do

As a Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

A Technician provides the technical support necessary to keep equipment, machinery, and facility systems functioning properly. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently.

The Technician works with a wide range of equipment while applying preventative maintenance practices and sound technical judgment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail help ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately.
