Summary:
We are looking for a Shop Operator I located in Odessa, TX.
What You Will Do:

• The Shop Operator I will work under general supervision and perform moderately complex and intricate operations and processes.
• Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behaviour; confront unsafe behaviour and conditions proactively and positively
• Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual
• Work in an unsupervised environment
• Use a computer to communicate, create and access information
• Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or co-workers
• Position is for the night shift of 7 pm - 7 am 11 days on 3 days off, every other Fri, Sat, and Sun

Minimum Qualification:

• High school education or equivalent
• Able to complete required documentation
• Able to repair equipment
• Understanding testing equipment and criteria
• Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Physical Demands:

• Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
• Medium work , exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
• Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
• Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
• Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knees.
• Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
• Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
• Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
