Description
Location: Midland, TX Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair equipment used in the production of poly pipe.
Provide support for the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and inspection of control systems to enhance performance and reliability.
Undertake emergency troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment to determine faults and provide resolutions.
Prepare reports on machine faults and errors to create maintenance schedules.
Work individually and collaboratively to reduce machine outages and stoppages.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent level of education.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an electrical/electronic repair industrial environment.
Strong mechanical abilities.
Experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, Controls Electronics, or CNC controls.
Ability to disassemble equipment, diagnose problems, and reassemble in a safe and proficient manner.
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated experience with automation in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience with predictive maintenance management concepts and the ability to use advanced devices for diagnosis.
Ability to translate complex technical information into an easy-to-understand manner to assist with decision making.
