Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
HVAC trade school or technical training (preferred)
Valid Texas Operator's License
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and qualifications that the administration determines to be appropriate and acceptable may be considered
Knowledge of HVAC systems, air filtration systems and preventative maintenance practices
Knowledge of indoor air quality standards and duct cleaning procedures
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings and work orders
Ability to supervise and coordinate work activities of assigned personnel
Knowledge of safety procedures related to HVAC maintenance and hazardous materials handling
Must possess minimum EPA certification I and II (Universal certification preferred)
Texas State Contractors License Type B (Preferred) or ability to obtain
Physically able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to comprehend verbal and written English
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
Primary Purpose:
This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the district's HVAC filter maintenance program to support safe, efficient and healthy learning environment across all district facilities. This position performs HVAC preventative maintenance duties, oversees filter replacement schedules, oversees and assists with duct cleaning operations and provides leadership and guidance to filter crew personnel.

Equipment Used:
Computer, meters, gauges, ladders, hoists, lifts, HVAC Duct Cleaning Equipment, hand and power tools, light truck or van.
Working Conditions:
Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying. Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent district wide travel.
