Technician

Start your new career as an Electrical Maintenance Technician with MAU at Milliken Valway in LaGrange, GA. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical cables and wiring throughout the manufacturing facility to help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.

• Monday-Friday schedule: 5:00 AM-5:00 PM / 5:00 PM-5:00 AM
• Rotation to night shift every 3 weeks

What We're Looking For:

• Two-year technical degree
• Computer experience
• 1-2 years of tugger forklift experience
• Ability to operate a cutting torch, hand tools, milling machine, drill press, circular saw, and ultrasonic scanner
• Knowledge of performing maintenance on industrial machinery
• Valid licenses and forklift certifications
• Ability to lift 26-50 lbs.
• Ability to work in an extremely hot and humid manufacturing environment, with temperatures that may exceed 100°F and humidity levels that may exceed 98%

What You'll Do as an Electrical Maintenance Technician:

• Install, route, and connect electrical cables throughout the manufacturing facility
• Inspect cables, wiring, and connections for damage or wear
• Troubleshoot cable and electrical issues involving production equipment
• Repair or replace damaged cables and components as needed
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to identify problems
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to keep equipment running
• Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery and electrical equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Respond quickly to cable-related issues to help minimize equipment downtime
