    Description

    Position Description

    Calibrates, sets-up and uses sophisticated and or specialized measurement and test equipment. Measures and records data for assigned projects. Interprets data and prepares recommendations. Writes reports and communicates results.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
    • Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing
    • Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations
    • Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepare reports
    • Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies
    • Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Job Skills Requirements

    • Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
    • Understanding of a specialized technical area
    • Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software
    • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to interpret data and create technical documents
    • Fluent in primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read English
    • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

    Education

    Associates Degree in Technical Field or related field, or equivalent education and experience

    Experience Requirements

    Five years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products
