Technician II

Job Title: Technician II - 3rd shift
Location: Temecula, CA
Hours: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM | 27.85 per hour

Job Description

The Technician II is responsible for adjusting, repairing, maintaining, and testing electronic equipment using diagnostic tools such as schematics, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices down to the component level.

The position may function as a Bench Technician and may also transition into a lateral Service Technician role, supporting end users with technical troubleshooting via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic equipment at the component level
• Use schematics, scopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively
• Perform SMT-related repair and rework activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and test results
• Provide technical support to end users as needed, including remote troubleshooting
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices at the component level
• Strong SMT experience required
• High School Diploma required; trade school or technical training preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet production and quality standards
