This role is in the Network Operations Center within Healthcare Support, working Day shift in the Network Central Monitoring Unit.
Responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms at the telemetry station, documenting rhythm strips, troubleshooting transmitters/receivers, and communicating abnormal findings to the healthcare team.
The individual provides support to the healthcare team, addresses patient, family, and visitor questions, maintains regulatory education, participates in quality improvement, and responds to emergencies appropriately.
Qualifications require a High School Diploma or GED, completion of an ECG class with passing exam, and over 10 months of telemetry technician experience in acute care. Certifications and licenses must meet specified requirements.
