Technician I (Electrician Maintenance I)

Summary:

Location: Midland, TX
Night shift position: 7pm - 7am - 12 hour shifts 5 day per week on site, potential for OT and call outs

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upkeep machines and equipment used in pipe manufacturing.
• Order parts for broken equipment and supplies for preventative maintenance.
• Perform daily checks on all equipment and filters throughout the plant.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with equipment.
• Communicate with management and supervisors about equipment issues and repair updates.
• Be available for on-call duties as needed.
• Collect and send oil samples from equipment for analysis to determine when oil in extruders needs replacement.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Innovate and create enhancements to equipment to improve efficiency and performance.
