Electronics Test Technician

We're seeking a hands-on Electronics Test Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic products in a laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electronics, electrical, automotive, robotics, automation, military, or technical troubleshooting experience who enjoy working with their hands and solving problems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of electronic assemblies and products.
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes of failures.
  • Set up and operate test and lab equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Document test results and maintain product records.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment and testing systems.
  • Work independently while supporting engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics, Technical Diploma, military electronics training, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering diagrams.
  • Experience using computers, Microsoft Office, and documentation systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Electronics testing or repair
  • Electrical work or electrician background
  • Automotive diagnostics and repair
  • Robotics, automation, or mechatronics
  • Networking or communications hardware
  • Manufacturing environments
  • Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude

Additional Details

  • Fully onsite position in Fargo, North Dakota.
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate if not local.
  • Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (training may occur on 1st shift initially).
  • Drug screen required.
  • Metatarsal safety footwear required.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
