The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves interpreting technical schematics, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Technician performs preventive maintenance, manages refrigerant handling, and leads field teams while supporting operational efficiency. What you''ll do:

  • Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels, ensuring compliance with building codes and operational standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial and industrial equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to optimize system performance and extend equipment life.
  • Adhere to OSHA and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols during all service activities.
  • Lead and mentor field teams on technical procedures and safety practices.
  • Manage service calls, documentation, and coordinate with external providers as needed.
  • Operate company vehicles safely to complete service assignments within assigned regions.

What you''ll bring:

  • Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Strong ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate system configuration.
  • Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery and company vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members while effectively communicating technical information to customers.
  • Proficient in coordinating service calls and managing workload using digital tools and scheduling systems.

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $58.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
