About the team:

The Facility Services Exterior Services team ensures safe, efficient, and well-maintained Walmart locations by managing exterior maintenance, seasonal activities, and equipment operations. This team upholds company policies and safety standards while coordinating repairs, inspections, and upgrades. Members collaborate closely with management and third-party providers to deliver quality service and maintain compliance with regulations. They focus on operational excellence, cost control, and customer satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement. The team fosters a professional environment that supports growth, accountability, and effective communication to meet the needs of Walmart facilities and customers consistently.

What you''ll do:

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational and safety requirements.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate purchases of parts, equipment, and supplies while controlling costs and submitting warranty claims.
• Lead and develop third-party providers, fostering professional growth and ensuring service quality.
• Collaborate with management to implement upgrades and improvements that enhance sustainability and reduce costs.

What you''ll bring:

• Proven ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Experience managing facility exterior services, including seasonal maintenance such as snow and ice removal.
• Ability to lead third-party providers and conduct quality assurance inspections.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, customer service, and resolving facility-related issues.
• Competence in budgeting, cost control, and sourcing equipment and materials.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with management and associates.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
