Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Afton, TX. The ideal candidate will support reliable data center operations by resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining equipment, and providing technical support to internal teams.
Rate Range: $22/Hour to $23/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technician Responsibilities include:
Maintain data center operations to ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance.
Diagnose, troubleshooting, repair server, hardware, and network-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures and implement corrective actions.
Assemble, install, and maintain data center equipment, tools, and testing devices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, inventory records, and automation scripts.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams while supporting on-call and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
4-6 years of experience in data center operations, hardware support, or infrastructure maintenance.
Strong experience with computer hardware troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and Linux operating systems.
Experience with data center environments, networking concepts, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash preferred.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
