Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Caledonia, MI. The ideal candidate will support critical data center operations by troubleshooting hardware, network, and Linux system issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
Rate Range: $22/Hour to $23/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technician Responsibilities include:
Monitor and maintain data center operations to ensure optimal system availability, reliability, and performance.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair server, hardware, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures and implement corrective actions.
Assemble, install, and maintain data center equipment, tools, and inventory while adhering to operational standards.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, scripts, and procedures to support infrastructure management and updates.
Provide technical support to internal teams and participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical equipment failures and emergencies.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
4-6 years of experience supporting data center operations, hardware maintenance, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Strong experience with computer hardware assembly, diagnostics, repair, and Linux operating system administration.
Working knowledge of networking concepts, data center environments, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
