Lab Technician, Neuroscience Biomarkers Immunoassays
The Lab Technician, Molecular Signatures position is a member of the Neuroscience Precision Measures team and is responsible for validating immunoassays and implementing their measurement on clinical samples. In support of this goal the Lab Technician maintains equipment and ensures laboratory safety by identifying problems and completing regular evaluations. They lead the receiving, scanning, sorting, and tracking of large sets of biological/medical samples. They also perform immunoassays on different platforms including plate ELISA, Meso Scale, Simoa, NuLisa and others and can perform initial QC check and compilation of the generated data.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
" Tracking, aliquoting, and managing documentation of large human biospecimen sample sets
" Preparation of samples for biomarker testing with high attention to detail.
" Immunoassay (ELISA, etc.) measurements on human biospecimen samples
" Compilation and technical qualification of biomarker data, using standard computer software (excel, prism)
" Proper recording of information (e.g. electronic notebook) and review of information to draw appropriate conclusions.
" Understands and applies Pharmaceutical s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
Minimum Qualification
" Minimally basic degree (B.S) in Science, Engineering and Technical subjects, as well as 3+ years of postgraduate work experience. A MA/MS with 1+ years of experience in a Biological/Chemistry discipline is preferred but not required
" Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
" Excellent computer proficiency e.g., MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Graphpad Prism
" Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues and creative thinking to develop solutions.
" Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.
