    Our team is currently looking for an experienced Fleet Technician – 2nd Shift to maintain our commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles, and work closely with team members to support operational goals.

    PrimaryDutiesandResponsibilities

    • Performsminorandmajorrepairsontrucksandtrailers.
    • Conductsroutinepreventativemaintenanceonservicetrucks,includinginspections,tirerotations,andoilchanges.
    • Collaborateswiththerepairteamtodiagnosevehicleissuesanddeveloprepairsolutions.
    • Maintainsaccuraterecordsofrepairsandmaintenanceperformedonvehicles.
    • Repairs,modifies,andperformspreventativemaintenanceonfleetvehiclesasneeded.
    • Completesallpreventativemaintenancetaskstoensureequipmentoperatessafelyandefficiently.
    • Troubleshootsandrepairsmechanicalmalfunctions.
    • Diagnoses,repairs,andmaintainsairconditioning(A/C)systemsonfleetvehiclesandequipment.
    • Diagnosesandrepairshydraulicsystems,includingpumps,cylinders,hoses,valves,andrelatedcomponents.
    • Diagnosesandrepairselectricalsystems,includingwiring,lighting,starters,alternators,batteries,andelectroniccontrolsystems.
    • InspectsfleetvehiclestoensureDOTcompliance,includingbrakemaintenanceandsafetyinspections.
    • Completesalldailyreporting.
    • Maintainsequipment,parts,andsupplyinventoriesbymonitoringstocklevels.
    • Preparesmaintenancereportsbycollecting,analyzing,andsummarizinginformationandtrends.
    • Maintainsasafeandcleanworkenvironmentbyfollowingestablishedprocedures,rules,andregulations.
    • AdherestoallCompany,DOT,andOSHAsafetystandardsandregulations.

    AdditionalSkills

    • MusthaveexperiencetroubleshootingandrepairingA/Csystems,hydraulicsystems,andelectricalcomponentsonheavy-dutytrucksandfleetequipment.
    • Abilitytoreadandinterpretelectricalandhydraulicschematicsispreferred.
    • Experienceusingdiagnosticsoftwareandelectronictroubleshootingtoolsishighlypreferred.

    Schedule

    Second Shift Position

    • Monday through Friday

    • Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    • Must be available to work a consistent second-shift schedule.

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    Experience and Competencies

    • Minimum of 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.

    • Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus.

    • Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials, equipment manuals, and repair documentation.

    • Experience with Microsoft applications and diagnostic software.

    • Strong attention to detail.

    • Professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.
