OurteamiscurrentlylookingforanexperiencedFleetTechnician–1stShift to maintainourcommitmenttosafetyandcustomerservice.Inthisrole,thesuccessfulcandidatewillperformtruckrepairandmaintenanceworkinaccordancewithfactoryandindustrystandards,rundiagnosticsonvehicles,andworkcloselywithotherteammemberstomeetcompanygoals.

PrimaryDutiesandResponsibilities

Performsminorandmajorrepairsontrucksandtrailers.
Conductsregularpreventativemaintenanceonservicetrucks,includinginspections,tirerotation,andoilchanges.
Collaborateswiththerepairteamtodiagnoseproblemswithvehiclesandplanrepairs.
Maintainsaccuraterecordsofeachrepairperformedonvehicles.
Responsibleforrepairing,modifying,andperformingpreventativemaintenanceonapplicablefleetvehicles.
Responsibleformaintainingequipmentoperationbycompletingallpreventivemaintenancerequirements.
Troubleshootsandrepairsmechanicalmalfunctions.
InspectsfleetvehiclestoensurethatallvehiclesareDOTcompliant,includingbrakemaintenance.
Completesalldailyreportingasrequired.
Maintainsequipment,parts,andsuppliesinventoriesbycheckingstocktodetermineinventorylevels.
Preparesmechanicalmaintenancereportsbycollecting,analyzing,andsummarizinginformationandtrends.
Maintainsasafeandcleanworkingenvironmentbycomplyingwithprocedures,rules,andregulations.
AdherestostrictsafeworkpracticestocomplywithallCompany,DOT,andOSHAregulations.

Education

HighSchoolDiploma

ExperienceandCompetencies

2yearsofexperienceinfleetmaintenance.
Weldingandbodyfabricationexperienceisaplus.
Mustbeabletoreadandcomprehendtechnicalreferencematerials(equipmentandrepairmanuals).
ExperiencewithapplicableMicrosoftanddiagnosticapplications.
