Technical Writer III
Transform Complex Engineering Into Clear, Impactful Documentation
Are you a skilled technical writer who enjoys working alongside engineers and subject matter experts to bring complex technologies to life? We"re seeking a Technical Writer III to develop high-quality technical documentation supporting advanced engineering programs and products.

What You"ll Do
Create and maintain technical documentation, including:
Operations manuals
Maintenance manuals
Technical procedures
Test plans
Training materials
Technical supplements and guides
Partner with engineers, program managers, and subject matter experts to gather and organize technical information.
Develop documentation using engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and CAD models.
Lead document review meetings and incorporate stakeholder feedback into document revisions.
Ensure all documentation meets customer requirements, quality standards, and intended audience needs.
Develop and maintain documentation templates, formatting standards, and supporting graphics resources.
Support technical data deliverables, compliance documentation, and proposal-related content as needed.
What We"re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor"s degree in Technical Communications, English, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of professional technical writing experience.
Strong knowledge of technical writing principles, standards, and best practices.
Advanced experience with:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint
Adobe publishing and documentation tools
Experience creating technical documents that include graphics, tables, illustrations, and embedded content.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering and development teams.
Strong written, verbal, editing, and organizational skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
